While in the mall with my beau, I saw this squid toy in a claw game. I've always wanted a squid doll, so we tried and tried to get it, but he was so top-heavy that he kept falling out of the claw. :/ While at Wal-Mart soon after, I saw fleece the exact color of that squid in the claw machine. I bought it on a whim and made this hat to show that squid wot wot.
He's very warm to wear, and has his eyes stitched to the ear flaps (they should technically be a little higher up, but I liked them in that position a little better). His tentacles are nice and long to wrap around the head for warmth, and have little felt suckers attached to them- one of his tentacles has ensnared a felt Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues.
This is the first hat I've ever made, and I'm very proud of him. He's of my own design.
this is the best thing ever. do you take comissions?
